Geena Ngaaje

Geena was most recently chosen as a primary dancer with the Black Eyed Peas at the Superbowl halftime show!  Originally from Cameroon, West Africa, she trained for more than 13 years in African tribal dances. She has taught hip hop for the past 8 years, and is knowledgeable in jazz, lyrical and children’s combination classes as well. Geena is a graduate of the University of North Texas, with a degree in Organizational Development and a certificate in Mediation. She is active in the Dallas dance community as a performer, choreographer and producer. Some of her dance and choreography credits include Radio Disney AM 620, Alter’d Ego, CNN Fit Nation, Dallas Stars Ice Girls, Texas Legends, and recording artist J’anelle Avery. Geena is looking forward to an amazing year with her new Centre for Dance family, and hopes to be able to continue to share her love for dance for many years to come!

    Congrats to the Performing and Hip Hop Companies! They recently competed at the Talent on Parade competition in Fort Worth and brought home multiple awards for solos, duets, trios, and group dances!

    Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue prep classes start February 27th! Prepare for April auditions by taking classes with team Director every Monday at 8pm.

    2012 Recital will be on Saturday, June 2nd at Plano West Senior High School. The last day of class is Thursday, May 31st. New enrollments are taken year-round; please contact the office for available classes.
