Performing Company at Centre for Dance is an amazing opportunity for dancers to learn poise and the self-discipline necessary to become the artist they dream of being. We are setting a standard of excellence with our commitment to developing solid technical dancers with amazing performance abilities. Company members train hard to improve individual skills and learn the lessons of teamwork.
Girls and boys on this team train and compete in all genres including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary and more! Dancers will be exposed to many types of dance styles and have the ability to train with some of the top choreographers.
Most recently the Performing Company competed at the Talent on Parade competition in Fort Worth. They had 8 duets/trios place in the Top 10, 4 group dances placed in the Top 5, and all 4 soloists placed in the Top 10 overall! They also received a few special Judges awards, and National invitations, and scholarships. Our Performing Company is under the direction of Mandy Penn.
