ASHLEY "COACH" CARTER
A freestyler at heart. Ashley specializes in hip-hop, step and heels. She began her dance journey at 10 praise dancing in church and talent shows at school. She later began training at Tarrant County College in ballet, jazz, modern and hip-hop.
She put a pause on her dance training to focus on pursuing her bachelors and masters in Business Management. Upon completion, she found her love for dance again when she took Geena Driven's Hip-Hop Heels class. From there she was involved several of her training programs called Risq’ and her production Alter Ego.
Later Ashley decided to take her love for dance and create her own dance business, The CweensGuard Step and Dance, where she guides women and children in the art of hip-hop step and heels. From there she was requested by Pamela Wilde to assist her in coaching the company hip hop team at Centre for Dance as the assistant coach and was dubbed " Coach Carter."
It is Ashley's passion and personality in dance that makes her fun to watch and it is her encouragement and no-nonsense attitude that makes her great to learn from.
