COVID GUIDELINES

updated 01/05/2022

Thank you so much for your patience and ongoing support during this time! We appreciate you all and we are excited to dance with you safely. Due to recent surge in Covid cases, our safety measures have been updated as of January 5th, 2022.

To secure the safety and well-being of our staff and students, CFD has developed the following procedures with guidance from the CDC and our local health department:

  • All instructors and office staff are required to wear masks.

  • Regardless of vaccination status, all dancers and guests must wear a mask at all times while in Centre for Dance.

    • Please wear a well-fitted mask that covers your nose & mouth.

    • Gaiters, face shields, and vented masks are not allowed.

    • We will give the dancers frequent "breathing breaks" to allow dancers to socially distance and remove masks for a moment to breathe freely, and/or take them outside, weather permitting.

  • Dancers, guests and staff are given hand sanitizer and shoes are disinfected by stepping on a sanitation mat at the building entrance.

  • Dancers should not be dropped off more than 5 minutes before class and must be picked up immediately after class ends.

  • Dancers waiting outside or inside are asked to continue socially distancing themselves.

  • No snacks or food is allowed in the lobby or studios at this time. Food is only allowed outside or in designated area in the dancer's locker room.

  • The lobby will be limited to one parent/guardian per dancer. Please no extra guests or siblings inside the lobby at this time.

  • All areas will be disinfected 3 times per day.

  • Each studio at Centre for Dance has its own HVAC system. There are also fresh air systems that allow for constant circulation of refreshed air.

  • Vacuums have upgraded HEPA filters.

Your safety and health is priority as we attend classes on site at Centre for Dance. If at any time you do not feel comfortable returning to classes, need to stay home, or miss classes, you may email the office to request a make-up class, or a ZOOM link to attend the class virtually.

Thank you again, and we will continue to send you updates.
