Sarah Salinas is 20 years old and is from Corpus Christi, Texas. She started dancing at the age of 3 doing everything from ballet, jazz, tap and even folklorico. She participated in annual recitals and major folklorico competitions. Upon entering high school, Sarah tried out for the drill team and successfully advanced to captain her junior year and colonel her senior year. After high school graduation she went on to become a World Famous Kilgore College Rangerette. During her time as a Rangerette, she performed in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, Disney’s ESPN World, two Good Year Cotton Bowls, a Houston Texans football game, Baylor Unniversity football game, the Texas State Fair and attended many more appearances statewide. In May 2018, she graduated from Kilgore College with an Associates of the Arts in dance.
Sarah is currently a student at The University of Texas at Dallas where she is studying arts, technology and emerging communication. Sarah is also a current member of the 2018-2019 Texas Legends Dancers where she will perform in the Dr. Pepper Arena and represent the Texas Legends Basketball Team.
She has experience both being a team member and a leader. She hopes to continue dancing as she pursues a career in digital media with the intent on partnering with Pixar Animation.
