COVID-19 Update & How It Affects Us
To our CFD Families & Friends,
Despite the evolving situation regarding the Covid-19 virus. As more information has become available, and with the recommendation of social distancing, Centre for Dance has made the difficult decision to extend our spring break through the week of March 16th. During this time, we have postponed all events, to include private rentals and private lessons. Please know the safety and well being of our families and staff are at the forefront of our decisions.
CFD will continue to keep you informed as things evolve, through emails, our social media sites, and through our website. We are hopeful we can return to our second home very soon, but in the meantime, Centre for Dance has a plan of action to keep us progressing during these unprecedented circumstances.
RECITAL DANCES- Our staff will begin to record your dancer’s recital dances and we will upload them to your online parent account. Once the video is ready and uploaded, you will receive an email so that you can access the content so your dancers can continue practicing.
TEAM REHEARSALS- We will send you a separate email within a few days with details on how to continue training and rehearsing virtually with your team and directors.
VIRTUAL CLASSES- Should this closure continue beyond the week of March 16th, our staff will move to a virtual classroom teaching format so that we can continue to provide the highest level of dance education possible. Our ultimate goal is to keep our families active, progressing, and to keep in touch with them the best way possible when we are unable to teach them in person. We want our dancers to continue to flourish and meet their dance goals
SOCIAL MEDIA- To keep us dancing, and to add a little extra dancing fun to our days, we will post daily social media challenges! Please follow us on our social media platforms to stay involved.

Thank you all for your continued support and patience during this time! We will do our very best to keep you informed and we look forward to seeing you all again soon! Stay safe – stay healthy – and keep dancing!
Susan & Staff,
