Ashlee Kinder
Ashlee or most known as Kinder is from Dallas, Texas and danced at the Centre for Dance in high school. Kinder trained under the direction of Caitlyn McGowan with the award winning competitive team, Surge. After her graduating year, Kinder took the role as assistant director and choreographer for the Surge company. She then continued her dance journey to Las Vegas after her acceptance into TAPS. Kinder trained with world known and admired dancers, choreographers, and performers. She trained with Helene Phillips, Colleen Craig, Nanci Anderson, Paul Kirkland, and many more. Kinder had the special opportunity to work on a music video with Emmy Award winner Bonnie Story, who is best known for her choreography in the High School Musical movies.
After completing her time in Las Vegas, Kinder moved to NYC to continue her professional career. She found a love for musical theatre in NYC, while training with Broadway dancer and choreographer Chip Abbott, and singing with the highly sought out Eddie Schnecker. Kinder danced in shows around the city in venues and black box theatre’s for different choreographers.
Kinder decided to move back to her home and join the CFD faculty again. She is driven by her love of dance and children. Kinder works with ages as young as 18 months all the way to our high school seniors. She is trained in all styles of dance, and teaches ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, lyrical/contemporary, and hip hop at the studio. Kinder is proud to be a part of the CFD family once again.
