Katherine Iheke, a native Texan, originally pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with an initial ambition to teach math in secondary education. However, her path took a transformative turn after her freshman year in college when she discovered her profound love and passion for dance. Driven by a growing interest in hip-hop music and culture, Katherine embarked on a journey of dance training that ultimately led her to join the Renegades Elite Dance Company, where she later directed the team. Her dedication and talent opened doors for notable opportunities, including being cast in the Monsters of Hip-Hop Show “Unleashed” in Los Angeles, performing at the ACMA with Dolly Parton, and touring on staff with Dance Revolution. With over a decade of dance training in hip-hop and various dance styles, combined with teaching experience, Katherine applies her knowledge and expertise to every instructional opportunity across the DFW area and other regions. She thrives on challenging and inspiring others with her distinctive movement approach and keen sense of musicality. Katherine’s primary mission is to empower those around her to discover the joy of living, loving, and dancing with passion and purpose.
