Auditions for Roles (Ages 6 and Up)

   Check-in  11:30am

   Audition  12:00pm

Location:  Centre for Dance

Full rehearsal schedule will be announced after casting 

​

Roles Available:

• Ballet & Acro 6+ can audition for feature lead and ballet roles. 

• Dancers interested in feature roles will participate in a general audition. Our Artistic Director will cast dancers in the role(s) that best fit their technique, performance quality, and overall audition. 
  Please note: Registering for the featured role audition does not guarantee placement in a featured role. Supportive roles are designed to provide dancers the opportunity to be part of the production regardless of audition results.

Audition Process:

• 30 minute ballet warm up

• Learn choreography: Prior to the audition you will learn a piece.

• Demonstrate your talent by performing the learned choreography.

• The artistic director will assign roles based on audition performance. 

• You will receive an email with your role and further instruction on participation in the Nutcracker

Dress Code:

• Girls: Black leotard, tights, and ballet shoes

• Boys: Black tights, white t-shirt, and ballet shoes (or jazz shoes if more comfortable)
